This Position reports to: Talent Acquisition Partner Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite ABB is seeking highly motivated and innovative R&D Engineers to join its talent pool for upcoming opportunities across Electrification, Automation, and Motion businesses at across multiple locations in India including Nashik, Bangalore, Faridabad, and Vadodara. You will be mainly accountable for: Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision. Performing various tasks in the assigned area (e.g., mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to designing, implementing, integrating, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations. Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints. Driving the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raising and addressing risks. Our team dynamics Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Qualifications for the role You enjoy working with CAD, Simulation & Data Analysis in either of Electrification / Automation / Motion business You have 3 to 18 years of experience in Designing, Prototyping, Type Testing of Mechanical parts with either of the following products LV and MV Switchgear, LV and HV Motors, Power Electronics & PCB (Working as R&D Engineer, R&D Sr. Engineer, R&D Manager, R&D Project Engineer / Manager with CAD software) Possess an enhanced knowledge of either CAD / SolidWorks / Creo / MATLAB / PLM Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering from a reputed university (should be full-time) You are at ease communicating in English A Future Opportunity Please note that this position is part of our talent pipeline and not an active job opening at this time.
